Chapel Barn Self Catering Holiday Cottage Orton Cumbria

Chapel Barn is a self catering holiday cottage accommodating four people. It was reborn from the derelict shell of a typical Cumbrian bank barn in 2004. The imaginatively designed interior is unexpectedly light and spacious, whilst retaining much of the character of the original building.

It is beautifully decorated and furnished, and designed to make your stay as relaxing and easy to manage as possible.

Chapel Barn is situated on a quiet side of the unspoilt village of Orton, which sits below the limestone plateau of Orton Scar and has easy access to the M6.

There are many walks directly from the village leading to stunning open country with superb views. Orton is on the route of Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk and is ideally placed for easy access to some of the most glorious areas of natural beauty in the North of England.
